Life, My Choice"
About AVENUE - For Teens: "My Life, My Choice" program
equips teens and young adults to make wise, Biblically-based choices
in their life.
This is a very interactive program designed so that each person not only hears
the encouraging and instructive words but internalizes them. Individual manuals
promote personal growth through reflective and challenging questions that teens
and young adults are faced with on a daily basis.
"My Life, My Choice" provides a solid Christ-centered foundation
upon which to base all of life's important decisions. The curriculum
is versatile for junior high, senior
high, young adults, and well
suited for male and females.
This program concludes with a closing ceremony often consisting of a formal dinner with
the teens and young adults proclaiming before the audience their commitment to sexual
abstinence until their wedding day while their father presents and places on their ring
finger a ring commemorating this significant day.
The curriculum covers the following subjects:
1. Will the Real Truth Please Stand Up?
Discovering what truth is and where it is found.
2. War Games
Learning about Satan and his game plan for deception
3. Virgin Territory: Where No Man Has Gone Before
Understanding the reasons for sexual purity
4. Get Right or Get Left.
Recognizing God's provision for our sin.
5. R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
Having self-respect because of who we are in Christ.
