Many men embrace healing and recovery through this program after having tried other programs. Others complain before entering this program that no program could possibly help them. While they are complaining saying "it can't be done," God typically interrupts them by introducing them to an effective program that works, or, by showing them someone who has actually achieved healing and recovery. God has provided men an avenue of escaping sexual addiction because He loves them. It's then up to men to take notice and to take action in embracing the kind of help that's being offered here.

Men in this program have varying degrees of faith in Jesus Christ - some none at all. We want to be the first to say that that is okay. We're not here to force-feed men anything. What we hope is that at some point men develop and/or strengthen their faith in Jesus as their healing advances in and through this program.

AVENUE - For Men works because it's an avenue for men to change their character, not just their behavior, through the mighty power of Jesus Christ and not just through their own power. Many men joining this program are going through the most difficult and challenging time in their lives and are crying out to be "rescued." It's in these tough times that great character has a chance to spawn.

Healing from inappropriate sexual behavior is often the gateway to God's destiny in men's lives, a destiny that is unreachable without having gone through this healing process.

In this sense, this program is far more than an operation of rescue - it's an operation of destiny. "Operation Destiny" is all about a man's opportunity to become the man God designed him to be - an honorable and courageous man of eminent faith and action who greatly impacts the world around him; One who establishes a legacy of nobility for others to follow.
