The Problem

Broken promise, broken vow, broken heart,
broken trust, broken home.
Sexual and relational brokenness is nothing new, but has reached pandemic proportions as 'freedom' in sexual expression has been peddled as a key ingredient of happiness. Implied when we exercise freedom to do what we please, no one gets hurt, there is no ill effect upon our lives.
Yet in the U.S., over 50% of marriages end in divorce, more than a million abortions are performed each year. Counselors state infidelity is the number one factor in divorce for many years. Now Facebook specifically is sited as the number one identifiable doorway to infidelity. TV, Movies, Ads, Internet, Pornography, and Facebook have all had a defining position in affecting sexual attitudes, core values and adversely affecting behavior towards important relationships.

The Solution

We are here to offer hope to those that have only found despair in these so-called freedoms, through inspired guidebooks and access to our healing group community.Through AVENUE support, a woman rediscovers her worth. Marriages and families are restored. Children get their Daddy back.

AVENUE . . . paving the way to help, hope and healing from sexual brokenness

AVENUE is a non-profit, interdenominational organization that exists in order to equip churches, counselors, and lay leaders to offer that help. We offer these resources nationally, and our groups and resources have even birthed groups internationally. We have been humbled to witness many thousands of restored lives, marriages and families.
Our experience has taught us that people don’t need just a book, they don’t need just a group, they emphatically need both. With a laser focus, we help people heal from wounds created through sexual compromise, and restore to wholeness, body, soul, and spirit. In order to make that a reality, our books are comprehensive, to provide a wealth of information and guidance for the route to freedom. That healthy guidance, combined with people meeting together sharing common concerns, is the incubator for healing.
We offer ongoing coaching for our group facilitators to help them create and maintain safe, confidential group environments. Most group leaders are AVENUE alumni, serving voluntarily from the abundance of their heart, passionate about offering the same hand to others in need. Most administrative work is done by dedicated volunteers too. Our web bookstore funds our nominal administrative costs. Our leadership training and all other growth opportunities are funded primarily by contributions from group attendees.
